There are tools for importing from XEP-227 files.
The above mentioned storage module could be used to export, if there were a way to move data between storage providers.
So what exactly is meant by this issue, and what's left?

Recent migrator changes (see #651) allows mod_storage_xep0227 to be used for import and export, with some limitations. Can this issue be considered done?

mod_storage_xep0227 does not support all kinds of data at the moment. Some kinds of data is not covered by the XEP, so may standards work.
Open issues for these where appropriate.
